Athlone Gardens redevelopment
Athlone Gardens was relocated last year because of the development of the Wornington Green Estate and it is to be moved again in 2016. This new incarnation will remain in place for seven years after which the park will be given its permanent home at the end of the Wornington Green development.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is responsible for the park and it's keen to work with the local community to make sure that the new temporary park is a great open space, designed by the people who will use it. The Council has taken on board the feedback from previous consultation and now has a proposed design.
There is an illustration of how the park will appear in 2016
here.
You can give your views on the proposals via an online consultation
