DOWNLOAD THE FESTIVAL FLIER

We're delighted to report that the Golborne Road Festival is back after a year off, and and in 2014 features features live music, dance, food from around the world, children’s entertainment, arts and community stalls and a ping pong tournament.

Golborne Road will be completely closed to traffic during the Festival, so come along to enjoy the fun and don't forget to bring the children. Hamido the Clown will be there as will Solaris the Snake Lady. Kids can explore a fire engine and a police car and bounce to their hearts content on an inflatable.

A new attraction this year is the Sports and Fitness Zone where you can try out a variety of activities. The Venture Centre adventure playground on Wornington Road will also be open.

Live music acts will include some favourites from previous Festivals as well as some new faces. Highlights on the music stage include singer songwriter Marianna Zappi, the soulful voice of Josh Oro and the Djembe players and dancers, Nahini Doumbia. Boujemaa Bouboul and Gwana UK will be playing their brand of Moroccan music while headline act Hardway will rock the Golborne with reggae and jazz, and special guest JC001.

A sincere thanks to the Festival's partners and sponsors:
Ardmore Construction, Ally Capellino, Catalyst Gateway, City Living Local Life Golborne, Community Development Foundation, David Phillips & Partners, Galicia Restaurant, Hutch, Kensington & Chelsea Social Council, Love Golborne Ward Initiative, Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team, Pizza East, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Venture Community Centre and Westway Trust.
