Nour Festival 2014

The fifth annual Nour Festival starts on October 20th with events in a variety of venues in Kensington and Chelsea, including some in Golborne. The six-week festival includes music, film, food, exhibitions, talks and dance, and acts as a crucial meeting point for East and West.

Beirut-based musician and producer Etyen makes ambient indie electronic music blending vocals and instruments with electronic beats and melodies. Featuring guest performer DJ Sundai (Sarah Young).

An evening of authentic Moroccan home cooking with local Moroccan Habiba Choukri from the local Moroccan community, sharing the stories and the experiences of keeping culinary traditions fresh and alive today. From a steaming seven-vegetable couscous, to a lamb tagine. And while you're feasting on Habiba’s food, she will reveal the secrets of a perfect couscous.
