Lots of fun at Swinbrook
The park on the Swinbrook Estate, on the corner of Wornington Road and Malvern Close, has been upgraded with some exciting new play equipment that is proving a big hit with local children.
One of the new pieces of equipment is a massive upstanding three-metre rock with notches for climbing. The bravest and most agile children can get to the top and terrify their parents.
Other equipment includes a communal swing, a climbing slope and a rolling log which children are adept at moving so that adults who try it fall straight off.
The park was not previously well used, but now, when the weather is kind, it is packed after school and at weekends.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea funded the refurbishment.
