Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall

Test the town hall!

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is looking for local people who can help to keep the council on its toes. The borough wants volunteers to join the Resident Reviewers Mystery Shopping Project and they're offering gift vouchers worth up to £40.

The project involves 50 ‘mystery’ residents telephoning, visiting and emailing council services and asking for help with made up but realistic enquiries. For example, you might phone the parking department with a question about parking restrictions. Reviewers rate the quality of their experience and the feedback is used to improve services.

Over the past 10 years, the project has involved over 250 residents who have a range of council departments including libraries, council tax, parking, planning and parks.

The council is looking for borough residents over 18 who can take part in two or three exercises per year. In return for taking part you will be rewarded with gift vouchers, typically £40 each time.

If you’re interested, call Gary Wilson on 020 7361 3616 or drop him an email.
