A new addition to the thriving Golborne Road café and restaurant scene appeared last summer – Viva. The eyecatching shopfront includes a basket of fruit, very appropriate since Viva serves a wide range of freshly made juices and smoothies as well as sandwiches, hot dishes and salads.Lunchtime specials include oriental chicken, lamb curry or salmon served with rice and salad and a drink for a bargain £6. Their selection of salads plus soup and a drink comes for £5.
Freshly made smoothies include banana, mango, pineapple and apple, and blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and apple. They also serve paninis and a selection of cakes and in the mornings you can get a plate of porridge and a coffee for £2.50.
Viva is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm.
