T-Levels come to Golborne

From September 2025 Morley College on Golborne's Wornington Road will be offering a new qualification for 16 to 19 year olds. Equivalent to three A-Levels, T-Levels are two year qualifications with substantial work experience. They offer a clear alternative to A-Levels and apprenticeships, and provide a direct pathway to employment, higher education, or higher or degree level apprenticeships.

Morley, which has centres in Chelsea and Waterloo as well as in Golborne Ward, will be running a variety of T different subjects leading to a T-Level qualification from September. These include a range of design and craft courses such as Jewellery, Fashion and textiles and Upholstery.

Jenny Macdonald is the Jewellery tutor and she says that, "I'm very excited to be launching the first Jewellery T-Level in England. At the Morley College centre on Wornington Road we’ll be able to offer small class sizes, a well equipped studio and opportunities to progress to employment or further education."

Also on offer are courses in Health, Science, Education and early years and Business. Digital courses include Cyber security, Games development and Software development. You can find out all about the full range of courses Morley College is running from September 2025 here.
